About
The City and Wharf league (CAWHL) is an East London mixed social hockey league we run every summer to help towards our mission of access and inclusion. It runs from April to August, is loads of fun, a great way to keep fit over the summer, and culminates in a fantastic end of season social.
Games are held at the John Orwell Sports Centre (Wapping, E1W 2QD) and the Mile End Leisure Centre (Bow, E3 4HL). Teams are a combination of corporate London hockey teams and social collectives!

As well as providing inclusive access to the sport via organisation based teams, running the league helps us provide free Back to Hockey sessions all year round for those completely new to the sport, or returning after a hiatus.
