Membership and match fees.

In order to make London hockey as accessible and affordable as possible, we strive to keep costs at a minimum by:

Supplying free team shirts for all our hockey players
Seeking sponsors and partnerships for our hockey club, teams and players
Fundraising throughout the year, including running our corporate CAWHL summer league and other events around East London
Providing a concession rate for students, new graduates and those with low income

Please note:

Match fees are £11 per game for adults, £5.50 for juniors playing in the senior league and a voluntary contribution of £3 for those playing junior games who have not purchased membership.
Ticketed social events are charged in addition to membership. For information on ticketed event costs please see our Events page.
If you are facing financial difficulties, please reach out to our Club Treasurer who is available to discuss your options on a confidential basis. Our policy is to make hockey accessible to everyone.
If you choose to pay in instalments, the first payment is due by the 1st of October and the three subsequent payments are taken monthly thereafter
If you are uncertain which membership type to select, please reach out to the Club Treasurer to agree, ahead of payment. This could help save on avoidable card processing fees that do mount up.

Full (Adult): £320 (payment in full) or £330 (3 x instalments of £110)

Full playing adult member, entitled to attend training, league and mixed games, socials (non ticketed) and all club events.

New joiners: £250 (payment in full) or £261 (3 x instalments of £87)

Members new to the club are entitled to this discounted rate for their first season. We hope this introductory rate will provide financial reassurance for those wishing to try us out. If you’ve been attending B2H sessions this summer and want to join the club for the season, this is the agreed membership for you. This is only available to new members, not returning ones at present.

Committee: £250 (payment in full) or £261 (3 x instalments of £87)

Concession: £210 (payment in full) or £219 (3 x instalments of £73)

Full playing adult member, as above. Agreed concession rate for
- those on low income (annual household income of less than £23,000)
- students and first year graduates

Kidds (Age 6-18)

Thanks to funding from Sport England and the Eastern City Bid, all three Wapping Kidds training sessions are free for the 25/26 season. For juniors who play senior league fixtures the membership fees are as below:
- ⁠Single annual payment: £180 (payment in full or 3 x instalments of £63) Access to senior league games and all inclusive annual access to junior games and tournaments. Additional match fees of £5.50 are due per game in the adult league.
- Single annual payment (concession): £90 (payment in full or 3 x instalments of £30)As above but for families whose household income is 23,000 or less.

Mid Season Joiner/Leaver: £165 (payment in full)

Full playing adult member, participating for 50% of the season or less, entitled to attend training, league and mixed games and socials (non ticketed). Apply for your discount code here.

Social (inc Vets): £60

Allows full participation in up to 5 league games, all mixed games and club socials (not ticketed). It does not however allow access to club training sessions. If you play more than 5 league games, you will need to swap to Full membership.

Alumni/Supporter: £10

We’re really keen to keep you involved in the club even after you stop playing. This membership means you can stay in touch with us and provides access to your and your family for Club Day, President’s Day and access for you to our socials (adults only)

Zero Rated: £0

Awarded to all goalkeepers (irrespective of owning your own kit), Exec volunteers, coaches and umpires who don’t play and others in need (applicable at discretion of Club Treasurer). Apply for your 100% discount code here.
