And that’s that!

After almost 7 months the 2022/3 hockey season has come to an end. The weekend saw some dramatic matches including a huge win for the L3 to avoid relegation and an agonising 0-0 draw resulting in the L1 losing out on promotion by just 1 goal. However, there is still the EOSD and summer leagues to look forward to and Wapping players to cheer on in the London Marathon on Sunday 23rd April.

LAST CHANCE for EOSD

The last chance to buy tickets for the end of season dinner on 22nd April is tomorrow so make sure you don’t miss out and buy your tickets here.

Summer league sign up

Wapping Hockey Club runs London's biggest corporate summer league, the City and Wharf Hockey League, which is back for 2023! It starts from the last week of April and runs to August, including hog roast/6-a-side tournament and black tie EOSD.

There is plans for a "Thank You NHS" team, offering for NHS workers to play free of charge. If you are interested in playing, please join via this link.

To sign-up to play for one of the Wapping teams, please fill out this form.

London Marathon

This year multiple Wapping players are taking on the London Marathon on Sunday 23rd April for various important causes, very impressive straight after a long hockey season. Please do come along and cheer on club mates, I’m sure the event will be a great EOSD hangover cure. It would be great if you could take the time to read their stories and donate to their chosen causes if you would like.
